Budget-minded travelers will find the lowest rates of the year with monthly rates starting at $1,000 per month for a gulf-front condo, including utilities. Area RV parks and campgrounds are also a popular draw for winter travelers.

Rental managers organize activities, such as potluck dinners, cards and games and group outings for winter visitors. There also is a wide range of volunteer and educational opportunities available nearby.

Snowbirds like the convenience of Navarre Beach’s 3.5-mile paved biking and walking trail located just outside their door.

Many take day trips to area attractions such as the Mississippi casinos, the National Museum of Naval Aviation and The Zoo of Northwest Florida.
