AND CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER

          Corey Smith will perform at the IP CASINO RESORT & SPA on Saturday, June 6 in Studio B and Cedric the Entertainer on June 12.

            Smith, a Georgia native, melds country, rock and blues into a sound that is all his own.  Smith’s recordings include “Twenty-One,” “If I Could Do it Again,” “I’m Not Gonna,’” and “Maybe Next Year.”  His four albums include “Corey Smith,”  “The Good Life,” “In the Mood” and his latest “Undertones.”

            Showtime in Studio B, located on the 2^nd floor of the casino, is 9:00 pm. Doors open 1 hour prior to the show.  Tickets are available online through www.ipbiloxi.com, www.ticketmaster.com or at IP CASINO Box Office on the second floor of the casino. Tickets purchased online may be picked up at the IP Box Office on the day of the show or in advance between 10am-6pm. General admission standing room only.  Guests must be 21 or older to attend the show. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted.

        See one of the funniest comics in America- Cedric the Entertainer live   Friday, June 12 at IP CASINO, RESORT & SPA.

            He made his first appearance in 1992 on It’s Showtime at the Apollo.  He also appeared on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam and BET’s Comic View.  In 1994 he won the Richard Pryor Comic of the Year Award from BET.  Cedric The Entertainer is best known as one of the headlining stars of the hit feature film, “The Original Kings of Comedy” directed by Spike Lee.  He is also known for his crowd pleasing roles in hit films including “Barbershop,”  “Be Cool,”  “Madagascar,”  “Intolerable Cruelty” and “Welcome Home Rosco Jenkins.”
